  In addition to studying forestry engineering, I also study vegan pastry, it’s one of my passions and I am very good at preparing different types of desserts such as Muffins, Cookies, Truffles, Lemon Pies and other types of cakes. Through vegan pastries, a delicious and healthy type of cuisine is shown, based on plants, without ingredients of animal origin, without contributing to their suffering, in addition, vegan cuisine helps mitigate the effects of climate change, helping to mitigate CO2 emissions. The person I admire in this area is Valentina Olavarrieta, she has 26 years old, it’s from Santiago de Chile and is a vegan pastry chef. Thanks to her, I learned different recipes and technique, she is always willing to teach with one smile. She has taken different types of courses, making this type of cuisine more widely known. I participated in one of these courses and learned how to make different types of cakes.

  I study forestry engineer, this major is related directly with the nature, there are millions of hectares of forest in the world distributed in plantations and native forest, and one of the goals is search a balance between the benefits economic, social and ambiental of the forest. If an ecosystem is negatively affected, a forestry engineer has the tools and knowledge to minimize the damage or restore the ecosystem. Personally, I would like to work in one big and important forestry company like Arauco or Mininco in the area of restoration of native forest, to make know the other part of this company’s, they have areas dedicated to restoration and are more concerned about the industry's impact on nature. Also, the knowledge of the forestry engineer can be applied in cities, improving the quality of their green areas, if I lived in a big city like Santiago, I would like work in urban trees.
